It's a pretty irrefutable statement that summer is the best time to be self-employed, so I won't bother defending it with a list of obvious reasons.

Instead, I will brag about today's office, which is Kavarna coffee shop in Oakhurst.

Today's office is full of natural light, which is terrible for taking photos but wonderful for happiness and productivity.

Miraculously, I haven't started worrying about money yet. The money will come, I feel. It's impossible to worry about anything when you're carrying a bathing suit in your purse.

I'm actually starting to get a bit of a tan.

The thing I love most about being self-employed is that I get to be in the city all day long. And I get to run into friends:

Which are not as great for productivity, but fantastic for happiness.
